The Latvian Civil Aviation Agency is the National Aviation Authority Of Latvia. It is the civil aviation authority of Latvia. It is responsible for managing the air navigation and traffic services in Latvia. CAA operates under the Aviation Department of the Ministry of Transport. The head office of the Latvian Civil Aviation Agency is in Riga Airport in Mārupe municipality, near the capital, Riga. The agency was established under Order No. 22 on 1 October 1993. Then, it was named the Latvia Civil Aviation Administration. It was renamed LCAA on 1 January 2006.
