Agence Nationale de l’Aviation Civil is the National Aviation Authority. The civil aviation agency of Gabon is responsible for the safety and regulation of the aviation industry. Its headquarters are in Libreville. The Secrétariat Général à l’Aviation Civile et Commerciale (SGACC), was the predecessor agency of ANAC. It was established in 1972. According to law 005/2008 of 11 July 2008, ANAC came into the picture.
