How long is flight school?

It all depends on your dedication and how much you study. As airline flight academy, we expect our students to be engaged in flight training or ground school at least 4 times per week and we have target time lines for completion of all of our flight training programs. Full-time flight students are expected to complete our flight training modules as follows:

• Private Pilot Airplane - about 60-90 days from start to FAA check ride
• Instrument Rating Airplane - about 60-90 days from start to FAA check ride
• Commercial Pilot FAR 141.55(e) 41 hour short course - about 60 days from start to FAA check ride
• Commercial Pilot FAR 141 long 121 course - about 120 days from start to FAA check ride
• Multi Engine Rating - about 30 days from start to FAA check ride
• Initial Certified Flight Instructor Course - Fast-track about 14-16 days from start to FAA check ride.
