Frequently Asked Questions

There are two different visa types issued by flight schools in the USA. Depending on the flight academy’s approval, either M1 flight student visa or F1 flight student visa are being issued. Florida Flyers Flight Academy is approved to enroll non-immigrant M1 students.

Just simply fill out out enrollment form and submit your documents. We do not have fixed dates to start your flight training program.

We accept wire transfers, credit card payments, checks from a U.S. Bank, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp. Airline Career students usually pay an initial deposit upon arrival at our Aviation Academy, followed by equal monthly installment payments.

We provide a conditional job offer to all eligible CFI graduates. M1 Visa students are not allowed to work. U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident Status and/or work authorization for the U.S. are required.

We recommend to work with only one assigned flight instructor. However, sometimes chemistry is just not perfect. We will work with you to find the best and most efficient way to utilize your flight training blocks.

We do not accept more students as we can train. Thus, our flight instructor to student ratio is about 1:4 to 1:5, one flight instructor per 4-5 flight students.

It depends on aircraft and flight instructor availablity. Schedule and unscheduled aircraft maintenance as well as weather conditions may delay some of the scheduled flights.

Our airline career programs can be completed within 4-6 months of full-time flight training. However, most international flight students complete the program in 10-12 months.

Other than the enrollment fee along with submitting your enrollment form, we do not require upfront payments. However, a deposit may be required upon your arrival, followed by equal monthly installment payments.

Our program includes flight- and ground training times required by Federal Aviation Administration minimum requirements to complete each course module. We have added all known fees, such as TSA, theoretical and practical exam fees and other expenses to present a realistic course outline.
